Bohol is one of the beautiful provinces in the Philippines located at the coastal part of Visayas. It is one of the best tourist destination and one of the very progressive province throughout the country.
There are 47 municipalities and 1 component city and one of these is Calape where the Pangangan Island is located in this municipality.

Pangangan Island has eight (8) barangays. The causeway is designed to connect the island to the mainland to make it passable by any means of transportation. It is not only accessible by land but also by sea.
Pangangan Island has a long rocky coastline on the its western seaboard while the other part is sandy. The road is concretely paved except for the developing interior part of the island. It has a globe tower which provides cellular and internet signals on its every part ( smart,sun,tm,red mobile signals are also available but not in most part of the island). Pangangan Island also has beatiful and very affordable and hotel to stay.
